About RuralReach

Why settle for slow Internet?

Just because you live out in the country, doesn’t mean you should be punished with slow, unreliable Internet service.

If you’ve been relying on dial-up or satellite, you know how inconsistent and lagging those connections can be.

Instead of old phone lines or flaky satellite connections, RuralReach.com uses robust wireless technology to securely bring Internet service into your home. The small receiver mounted on the outside of your home connects directly to one of our towers. There is no waiting for cable crews to run a new wire down the road or for some complicated construction project to be completed. Once it is determined that you are in the range of one of our 40+ towers your equipment is installed, and you are ready to go! Often, the very same day!!

That’s all it takes to deliver consistent, high-quality Internet to your home for news, sports, games, and homework!

COVID-19

Internet is considered a vital service and as a result RuralReach has been granted authority from the State of Michigan as well as the Department of Homeland Security to continue delivering, installing and restoring service to our customers.

PLEASE HELP US DO THIS SAFELY for our personnel, their families and yours.

  • Maintain the recommended 6ft. of space when interacting with our personnel.

  • We want to keep our installers outside of your home as much as possible but some entry may be required. While inside they may have to install a cable or connect to a router or other equipment. Please make sure it is accessible to them and doesn’t require moving furniture or other items to get to. If you have the resources, sanitize the equipment that they may need to touch before they arrive, and if you leave a wipe nearby they will sanitize what they touched before leaving.

  • Our installers will install/test with their own equipment. They will not be using your computer, tablet, phone, or keyboard at anytime. This includes setup or testing. They may ask you to do so before they leave, following their directions. They will verify our equipment is functional and the Internet link is up before they leave. Additional connections to your equipment is your responsibility.

What is a WISP?

A WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) is an organization that brings Internet connectivity to low-density rural areas where it is either impossible or too expensive to run physical wires or fiber optic cables.

There are more than 800 WISPs across the country formed by people like you and the staff of RuralReach. People who realized that access to the Internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity for every day educational, commercial, and entertainment purposes. RuralReach and other WISPs work hard to provide the equal access needed for every family or individual, whether they live on a 100-acre farm, or a neighborhood cul-de-sac.

RuralReach is a proud member of the Wireless Internet Service Provider Association (WISPA). Watch the video at this link for more information on how we deliver your Internet to you.
